MP Birla Cement Samrat is a fly-ash based Portland Pozzolana Cement conforming to IS-1489 (Part 1). Made by blending high quality Portland cement clinker, fly ash and gypsum from power plants, it is used for strong, durable and concrete structures. The product was launched in 1994 in the Satna unit and is the most demanded product of BCL for normal constructions. The cement has been very well received in the states, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Gujarat, Orissa, WB, MP and Uttaranchal.

Launched in the year 1999 for Durgapur unit as Birla Cement Samrat, the name was changed to MP Birla Cement Samrat recently and is still continuing.
